A. Attendees

1) Who can/should attend?

• My EO Next Gen Philippines 2018 is a 3-day entrepreneur's camp open to teenagers (13-19 years old) of all EO members and their relatives.

• Children of EO Members who would like to hone exciting new skills on creativity, innovation and collaboration, develop personal leadership, and make new friends form all over the globe.

B. Transportation and Accommodation

2) Do I need to bring the children to Manila myself or will there be somebody to pick them from the airport?

• All unaccompanied children will have pick up transfer arranged in Manila. A host guardian from EO Philippines will be assigned to each unaccompanied child. This includes the overnight stay at the guardian's home before and after the camp. The guardian will be introduced to the parents via email, at least one week prior to the event.

• For families traveling together, transfer will be arranged upon request/

• All flight details to be furnished 1 month before the camp for those who require airport transfer/

3) Where are the children staying?

• The camp and lodging will be at the Villa Crisanta in Rosario, Batangas, about a two-hour drive away from Makati, Metro Manila.

C.Safety and security

4) How do I know my child will be safe? Who will be taking care of them?

• Safety and security are of utmost importance to us. As such we have assigned an EO member to be in charge of this as the SAFETY OFFICER.

• A host guardian will be assigned to each unaccompanied child, from arrival to departure at the airport.

• EO members will be chaperoning the children throughout the camp.

• A security company is being hired for the absolute safety of all participants 24 hours/day.

• A medical team will also be present at all times.

D.Camp & Program

5) What is this camp about? Why should I send my child to this and not any other available camp?

• This camp is unique to EO in that it aims to align the activities and experiences for EO children with the visions, values and influence of both EO Global and EO Philippines,

• It will provide a learning and support ecosystem for the children of EO, and

• Will create an environment trust, respect and sharing for EO children and their parents that will encourage discovery, adventure and relationship building.

6) What are the activities? What will the children be doing?

• The participants will be in an environment that will foster very critical entrepreneurial skill sets focused mainly on Personal Growth (Self-Awareness and Self-Mastery), Life Skills (Social and Practical Skills), and Business Skills (Management)

• The participants will be immersed in an engaging and experiential leadership program.

• They will learn exciting new concepts and tools like design thinking, digital marketing and enterprise building.

• They will learn and be inspired from the experience of EO mentors.

• They will meet and create lasting relationships with the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs from around the world.

7) If I send more than one child, will they be allowed to room together?

• The campers will be given a roommate, and their assignments will be based on a pre-determined criteria. Siblings will not be allowed to room together.

8) I feel that my child is too young/old for this camp. Will he/she fit in?

• The program takes into account the broad range of ages attending this camp. Each subset of ages will be grouped together in certain sessions to facilitate the best learning experience. But for the most part, all campers, regardless of age, will be encouraged to collaborate and work together.

9) Who are the camp facilitators?

• The lead facilitators are from World of Outbound, a reputable educational development and training company in the Philippines. They are responsible for the implementation of the program. They will be assisted by EO members acting as mentors and coaches throughout the Camp.

E. Miscellaneous

9) What if my child requires a special diet?

• Most meals will be provided by specially selected caterer. For this year’s camp, the exclusive caterer is Bizu. A selection of spicy and non-spicy, Asian and Western meals will be provided.

• Special diet requirements to be notified to us upon registration.

10) How about pocket money?

• Pocket money is not needed during camp, but you may want to give them some money for their own personal purchases. (Shopping, snacks, and any sight seeing)

• All food, board and lodging will be provided from March 26-29, 2018.

• For unaccompanied children a host family will be provided to attend to their needs before and after the camp.

11) Will my child be forced to participate in any activity in which they are either uncomfortable joining, or unwilling to join?

• All activities will be supervised by trained facilitators who are sensitive to the limitations and concerns of teenagers. If your child is unwilling to join a particular activity due to physical limitations, he/she will be excused from the activity.

12) Will parents be allowed to watch/engage the child during camp?

• Parents will be discouraged to see and speak to their child/children during the camp.

• Parents who may want to visit the camp are requested to inform the organizers so that arrangements can be made for their accommodations at Hotel 1925 in Lipa City, which is 14 kilometers from the camp site.

• The children will be given specific times when they can use their cellphones/laptops to communicate with their Parents/guardians.

• Parents and guardians will be invited to join the culminating event/dinner on the last day of camp.

13) Will our children need to bring anything to the camp?

• An e-mail with all the “reminders” will list all the materials needed to be brought by the child.

14) Will the children be leaving the camp site during the 4 day camp?

• As part of the program design, the children will need to leave the camp site at certain points of the camp. These excursions will be strictly supervised by EO members and security will be of utmost importance.

15) Is there a program, itinerary or track for parents while the camp is going on?

• No. Haha.

• We have made arrangements for special rates from Hotel 1925 in Lipa City, 14 kilometers away from Villa Crisanta, should parents of campers wish to hover around their kids!
